Old Romance Novel Is "The One" For Me

Although not an avid reader of romance novels, occasionally hitting my imagination. I found the Mary Flinn's first novel "The One" looked very pretty flower of love among the young and young Kyle Davenport Davis Chelsea. His story brought me back to my high school days I was reminded of all the drama and confusion that resulted in the first people to participate in meaningful relationships, so when Mary Flinn wrote a second novel about the characters age adults called "The second time is a charm "as-is suitable not only for their characters, but because this is his second novel, loved it.

"The second time a charm" is the love story of Stacie Tyson Edmonds and Garrett. Stacie was forty years earlier in the novel, while Tyson celebrates his 31st Birthday. As someone who has forty years this year, I found the love story between the characters more important to me about a novel for teenagers. Besides, I had already met these characters briefly in "The One" is Aunt Stacie and Kyle Davis had appeared only a few pages, their presence in this novel was an important and memorable precisely because their age difference and were higher their usual romantic roles.

Stacie owns the healthy side, a successful restaurant in a coastal North Carolina, but despite the success of Stacie, she still has some trouble dealing with his past, especially her divorce from her ex-husband Rick, who happens to own a restaurant in the same city, which seems enough to irritate and an opportunity to heal from their past. Tyson has its own problems to overcome, but committed to their relationship, perhaps more than Stacie, you're a little nervous about taking a second chance at love.

For most of these characters self-assured and confident. They know who they are and they know their weakness, they are not teenagers trying to find, but adults who have taken tough decisions and still hope for their future. In addition to love, Stacie has to decide if she will try to have a child after suffering some health problems and that could put a baby in danger. How the two main characters support each other and their passion for each other makes them extremely sexy, something that becomes clear with the first chapter of the novel. Apparently, life can begin at forty.

Mary Flinn also brings the characters of "The One", Kyle and Kyle Shelly Chelsea and mother. Familiar and new characters are a great cast in this novel. The reader should feel that he or she is there, working alongside healthy, enjoying relaxing days at the beach and just spending time with family and friends of the parties Flinn a great job of bringing to life. I felt I knew these characters are ordinary people who work hard with the same goals, hopes and dreams we all have, and I grew up with them and as expected did not hurt.

It is not about giving things to say that everything works at the end of Stacie and Tyson. The magic is not so much the plot, but the way Flinn breathes life into this fictional world, with its references to real places and restaurants in North Carolina. The book can be a bit predictable, but still have to keep turning the page to see the details of how it all happens. I was almost ready to go out and buy a wedding gift and try to decide what to wear for the ceremony, after all, Stacie Tyson and become good friends of mine and I expected to dance at their wedding.

In short, "Second Time Charm" is a fascinating read. Mary Flinn know how to make the world every day as real as his words on the player a spell, a spell that runs just outside too soon. But do not be too disappointed with his third book, "The three gifts" is coming, and brings the reader back to these lovable characters again, these three novels are "three gifts", indeed.
